How to Address SW-2000 Series Aquatics Scoreboard for Multi-drop Protocol

  • What is the process for addressing a SW-2000 Series swimming scoreboard?

  • SW-2000 or SW-3000 series scoreboard

Steps

  1. The addressable drivers in the SW-2000 can be addressed with an address plug plugged into J19 of the driver.
  2. See your model manual to get an idea of the configuration you will be using.
  3. Determine which addresses you will use:
    1. See the drawings below for the configuration you should use for the OmniSport 2000 for the correct configuration.
    2. See section 3.6 (PDF page 22 of 91) in ED-12156 - SW-2000 Series Manual for other consoles.
  4. Set your addresses on the address plug.
  5. Start the running clock on the timer to set the protocol.
    1. The protocol is automatically assigned on the Gyrus drivers when enough packets of data are received for the protocol to be detected.
    2. The protocol is always being monitored, it is not just sampled on boot up.
