Scoreboard time section blank, but the rest of it is working

Potential Symptoms

  • Time digits blank.
  • Time digits correspond to columns 1-4. All other digits correspond to 9-16.
  • Fan is not running on power supplies.
  • 0VDC on pins 10 to 12 on J17(Driver).

Environment

  • MS-915
  • All Sport

Cause

  •  Driver Enclosure's fan cable pinched behind the fan.

Resolution

  1. Reference Driver Power Supplies; PS01 Powers Columns 1 through 8, PS02 Powers Columns 9 through 16, DD2234314.
  2. Remove fan from P01, time digits show Game In Progress (GIP) data.
  3. Plug fan back to P01, time digits blank.
  4. Power supply is outputting the appropriate 24VDC.
  5. Unmount the fan from the driver enclosure.
  6. Inspect the fan's red and black wires for pinches.
