Are Daktronics displays compatible with MAC Filtering?

  • Connect to a Daktronics display over a MAC filtered network

Environment

  • Secured Ethernet Network
  • GP4 or DMP controlled displays
  • Hardwired TCP/IP communication

Resolution

  • With our direct wired Ethernet communication (Wired and Fiber) you can setup a display to work on a MAC filtered network.
  • EBR Radio's will not work with MAC filtering, as the Radio's are assigned MAC address' due to having web interfaces.  MAC filtering only allows 1 MAC per port, and the port would have a total of 3.
