Why does my .wmv video file loop at the end or show blank?
Potential Symptoms
- When I import .wmv files into Content Studio it loops the beginning part of the video at the end of the video for about a second causing a looping effect.
- When importing .wmv video files into Content Studio, the file imports like normal but once in Content Studio, the program sees the empty space at the end of the video and Content Studio needs to input data into the missing data portion, causing the looping.
Environment
- Venus 1500 (v4.17)
- Content Studio (v1.26)
Cause
- When exporting video as .wmv, video programs (such as Adobe Aftereffects) can add 1 sec of empty space at the end of the video.
Resolution
- Issue is currently unknown and being research further.
Work Around
- When exporting the video from the video program choose uncompressed .AVI files.
