How can I record my digital display with a camera as it plays content?

Potential Symptoms

  • Record/Capture my display as it changes content for advertising purposes.
  • When playing the recording of the display, the animation jumps around and does not show correctly.
  • The animation shows correctly in Content Studio and when watching the display.

Environment

  • Venus 1500 V4
  • AF-3400-24X80-64-A

Resolution

The recording does not capture all the video and upon playback the animation does not show correctly.  To assist in capturing the best video, make sure these three steps are followed:
  1. Display is set to 100% brightness.
  2. The shutter on the camera needs to be turned OFF.
  3. The recording frame rate needs to be 29.97 or higher.
