Scoreboard: Home or Guest innings showing the balls, strikes, and outs information; Wrong driver address
Potential Symptoms
- Home innings are lighting up when balls, strikes, or outs are entered.
- Balls, strikes, and outs data is showing up in Home innings.
- Guest innings digits are showing the Ball, Strike, and Outs information.
- Ball, strikes, and outs data is showing up in the Guest innings.
Environment
- Product Family: Sports Product
- Product: Inning by Inning Baseball scoreboard, BA-3718
- Component: Multiple driver scoreboard
- Control System: AS-5000 series console
Cause
- Driver address is wrong or driver has failed (address setting not being detected).
- If info is populating in Home innings, issue is with A3 driver.
- If info is populating in Guest innings, issue is with A2 driver.
Resolution
- Correct the address on the driver. How do I set the address on a LED scoreboard driver?
- If address is correct, toggle switches back and forth and if issue not resolved, replace driver.
