Daktronics Programs are Zoomed In, Wrong Resolution, or Have Buttons Cut Off

Potential Symptoms

  •  Windows are zoomed in, buttons are cut off, or the program seems to have the wrong resolution.

    Environment

    •   Windows 7

    Cause

    •  Windows Text zoom setting is set to something greater than 100%.

    Resolution

    1.  Right click on the desktop and select "Screen Resolution"
    2.  Near the bottom click on the "Make text and other items larger or smaller" link.
    3.  Make sure that the 100% option is selected and hit "Apply"
    4.  You will be prompted to log out and log back in, do so.
    5.  Your programs should now open with the correct window and text size.

    Work Around

    1.  On certain programs you can click on the edge or corner of a window to expand it. This will allow you to see the entire window.
