Radar gun Stalker Sport 2 with All Sport speed of pitch not displaying

Potential Symptoms

  • Radar gun showing SOP on its LCD readout, but not showing up on All Sport or Speed of Pitch (SOP) fixed digit display.
  • What settings are needed to use a Stalker Sport 2 radar gun with All Sport?
  • Invalid Character error, there will be a space in feed before speed.

Environment

  • Product:  Speed of Pitch (SOP)
  • Component:  Stalker Sport 2, Stalker Sport Pro 3s
  • Control System: All Sport 5000, All Sport 5100, All Sport 5010

Cause

  • Stalker Sport 2 & Stalker Sport Pro 3s requires different All Sport console settings than the Stalker Sport.

Resolution

Edit the options on the Stalker Sport 2 or Stalker Sport Pro 3s gun:
  • Press Menu key to get to Operator Menu
  • Press and hold the Menu key while in the Operator Menu to enter Options Menu
  • When in the Options Menu, the first setting will be LOW
  • Press Menu to step through the option settings
  • When on the correct menu option, use Select key to change the following settings:

May need to press Peak button (Enable Peak Mode) to transmit to the Allsport. 
 

  1. Set All Sport Settings for Radar Gun Type to Stalker Pro:
    • Press <MENU>
    • Press <DOWN ARROW> to "RADAR GUN TYPE / SELECT"
    • Press <ENTER/YES>
    • Press <DOWN ARROW> to "RADAR GUN TYPE / STALKER PRO"
    • Press <ENTER/YES>
    • Press <MENU> to exit.
