How do I set up Daktronics Motorsports Interface software to display AMB data on galaxy display

Resolution

 Configure ports in Daktronics Motor Sports interface.
1. Click Input tab, select setup under Port:

2. Create a name for the port, select the TCP radio button, clear the check mark box TCP Listen, enter the IP address of the AMB computer, enter the correct port information, Click OK.

3. Select the output tab, click add, double click the new port that appeared.  

  

4. Enter a name for the port, click setup, on the Protocol drop down select Enhanced RTD.

5. Set port type to network, select the UDP radio for protocol enter Port number (this will be the port that the galaxy display is configured to receive data on), click OK.

6. Click OK again.

7. Create content in Venus 1500 to display data.

  1. Click the Data Fields menu at the top and click on Real Time Data:
  2. Select Custom ITF, Click the ... button on the right, select the AMB ITF.
  3. Under field type select Extended RTD select the data filed you want to add, Click add.
  4. Do this for all the data field you want to add, enter any text you want to add.
  5. Name and save the message in the default folder.

8. Play the message to the display.
