Content Studio: How do you change the hold time or duration or edit scrolling text?

Cause

The duration of Scrolling Text is determined by the font size, length of the message, and scrolling speed chosen when creating the scrolling text message.  To edit a scrolling text message, please perform the following steps:

Resolution

  1. Launch Content Studio.
  2. Click Application Menu, choose Open.
  3. Browse and select scrolling text needing to edit, and click Open.
  4. Double-click the Scrolling Text Element in your layout.
  5. First step, either add or remove text.
    • If you add text, that will lengthen the duration.
    • If you remove text, that will shorten the duration.
  6. Second step, adjust the font size and/or style.
    • If you choose a larger font size/style that will lengthen the duration.
    • If you choose a smaller font size/style that will shorten the duration.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Choose Scrolling direction and Text offset.
  9. Click Next.
  10. Choose Scrolling speed.
    • If you slow down the speed, that will lengthen the duration.
    • If you speed up the speed, that will shorten the duration.
  11. Click Import.
