Cause

The MSXML Core Service is at 3.0 and Venus 1500 v3 software only supports MSXML Core Service 4.0
  1. Right-click on the Venus 1500 Shell.
  2. Click About Venus 1500.
  3. Click Systems tab.
  4. Confirm Microsoft XML Core Service 4.0 is listed.

Resolution

Update the MSXML Core service to 4.0.
  1. Go to the following web address: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/default.aspx
  2. Locate and  Download  msxml.msi, 5.0 MB file size.
  3. Click Run.
  4. Follow the Windows Install Wizard and click Finish when complete.
  5. Close Venus 1500 Shell and re-open and try software again.

If the Core Service did not update do the following:
  1. Click Windows Start Menu.
  2. Click Run.
  3. Type cmd, click ok.
  4. Type the following regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\msxml4.dll
  5. Hit enter.
