Sound from DMP-8000 not getting to mixer.

Potential Symptoms

  • Audio from the DMP-8000 is not getting to mixer.
  • Connecting 1/8" jack to RCA connections on the mixer.
  • Using a Daktronics Provided Audio Mixer.
  • DMP version 9.4.0.61

Environment

  • Product: DMP-8000
  • Component: 1/8" / 3.5 mm Audio Output
  • Control System: DMP-8000

Cause

  • Trying to get audio out of the onboard RealTek audio card.
  • Default audio was set to the DeckLink Blackmagic dongle.

Resolution

  1. Ensure device drivers are up to date by selecting the device in device manager.
  2. Right click and select Update Driver.
  3. Select "Search Automatically for Drivers".
  4. Change the default audio to the onboard RealTek audio card.
  5. Select HEADPHONES as the input device in the RealTek popup window.
