Cause

  • For best results when using the Venus 1500 v4 Software, it is recommended to use a lower monitor DPI Setting. If using a larger DPI setting, you may not view all of the software application.

Resolution

  • Change the computer monitor screen DPI. This is not required but highly recommended to have a lower DPI Setting for your Computer Monitor.

Windows XP

  1. Go to Windows Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Display.
  2. From Display Properties, choose Settings Tab.
  3. Click Advanced.

  4. From the General Tab, under DPI Setting, choose 96 DPI (Recommended).

  5. Click Ok to the Change DIP Setting message.
  6. Click Apply and Ok.
  7. Restart the Computer.

Windows Vista, 7 or 8

  1. Right-click on the computer Desktop, choose Personalize.
  2. On the bottom left corner, under See Also, click Display.

  3. Under Change the size of all items, choose Medium - 125% or Smaller - 100%(default).

  4. Click Apply.
  5. If you see a prompt about Signing out or Restarting the computer click Sign out now or Restart Now.
    • If you do not receive a prompt, please restart the computer.


Windows 10

  1. Right click on the Desktop, and choose Display Settings.
  2. Select Display from the options on the left.
  3. Select which monitor Venus 1500 is going be displayed on.

  4. Under Scale and Layout change the value to 100% or 125%.
  5. Select Sign out now for changes to take effect. NOTE: This will close out of running programs; save before selecting!
