The time is not correct on display after publishing content, set time/date in M2Config.

Potential Symptoms

  • Time showing incorrectly on display using Display Studio.
  • Time is off on display using SCS.
  • Time is not syncing using Show Control / Venus 1500.
  • Time is off on display, no specific amount.
  • Scheduled content not appearing at correct times.

Environment

Cause

  • Display studio does not have a time sync feature.
  • Controller is not updating time accurately.

Resolution

Step 1: Install  and connect to M2Config on the computer.

Step 2: Set Time and Date from M2Config

  1. While in M2Config, select Tools Tab.
  2. Click Set Time/Date.
  3. Time will sync with the display.

This process may need to be repeated every couple of weeks.
