CTS System 6 showing split and finish times on Daktronics scoreboard but no running time.

Potential Symptoms

  • Scoreboard drivers are addressed properly using Protocol 2 but the running time will not show up on any lanes.
  • Lane and place information shows fine and each lane will show split and finish times just no running time.
  • CTS System 5 controller shows running time on each lane still.

Environment

  • Product Family: Aquatics, Swimming
  • Product: Timing
  • Components: CTS6, Colorado Timing Systems, SW-2XXX (with legacy drivers) *0P-1150-0127

Cause

  • Scoreboard driver firmware version is 2.3 or earlier. *Will need to read this off the driver PROM, will not show on boot up.

Resolution

  • Replace scoreboard drivers with:
    • (Best Option) - The current available scoreboard driver.
    • If using a Legacy driver it must have firmware version 2.4 or greater.
