No communication to display, RC-100 shows unable to initialize radio.

Potential Symptoms

  • Getting error code "Cannot Init Radio".
  • Remote won't communicate with display.
  • Pressing connect button on remote will not get remote and base station to connect.
  • Switched channel on base station to "F" and then back again and will not connect.
  • Battery shows as fully charged on handheld.

Cause

  • Needs batteries reset or the handheld or base station has failed.

Resolution

  • Disconnect the internal battery on the base station and reconnect it.
  • Replace handheld and base station one at a time to determine which failed.
