Potential Symptoms

  • Venus 1500 v3 the software shows same messages playing on both sides but one of the physical displays is not showing the same messages the software shows.
  • Time won't synchronize on one side.

Environment

  • Venus 1500 (3)
  • Configuration
  • Windows XP
  • M2

 

Cause

  • Display 1 and Display 2 were configured in the software to the same phone number/IP address/Comport and both display configurations were set to Address 1.

Resolution

  1. Go to Venus 1500 Administrator.
  2. Expand to Display Configuration List.
  3. Right-click the display with bad address and choose Edit.
  4. Change address to 2 or whatever the controller is set to.
  5. Go to Venus 1500 Display Studio, select the display, click Get Status.
