Daylight Savings Time adjusted a week earlier or didn't adjust on the time and temperature display

Potential Symptoms

  • Daylight Savings Time (DST) changed a week earlier or later on time temp display.
  • Time on the display is an hour behind or ahead.

Environment

Cause

  • Starting in March of 2007, daylight savings changed from the April/October dates to the March/November dates we currently use.
  • Any Time/Temp displays shipped prior to September 19, 2005 may have firmware with old dates loaded.

Resolution

  • You can contact service and arrange to send in the host driver for a firmware update or order a updated replacement driver.

For Temporary Operation

  • Manually change time following the instructions in the display manual located on our site or:
    1. Plug the DM-100 controller in at the base of the display and wait 5 seconds for it to fully power up.
    2. Select the Menu key.
    3. Use the arrows and navigate to Set Time 12HR.
    4. Select the Enter key to edit.
    5. Enter in the correct time and select the Enter key.
    6. Enter in the correct month, day, and year selecting the Enter key after each one.
    7. The DM-100 should prompt you to hit Enter one more time to send.
    8. Verify the correct time now shows on the display.
