Getting interference from wireless All Sport console through coaches wireless headsets

Potential Symptoms

  • Coach's wireless headset is getting interference from All Sport wireless console.

Environment

  • Product Family: Sports Controller and Interfaces
  • Product: Scoreboards
  • Component: Wireless radios, Third Party Coach headsets
  • Control System: All Sport Wireless Console

Cause

  • Both headsets and wireless All Sport console are operating at 2.4GHz.

Resolution

  • Will need to go wired with the All Sport to scoreboard signal or will need to use wireless headsets that operate at a different frequency.
    • NOTE: If you have a Daktronics Matrix display using Ethernet Bridge Radios (EBR) for communication, the EBR's operate at 900 Mhz.  Therefore, it is not recommended that coaches headsets operating at 900 MHz be using at that facility.
