Galaxy, content is shifted in each row showing a stepping pattern on the sign, area to left of content is blank
Potential Symptoms
- Mirror display has a stepping effect…content is shifted and each row down is shifted further.
- Area to the left of the shifted content is blank in each row even though all modules do have power.
- Issue remains even if bypassing all interconnect equipment (connecting output of controller to input of MLC) and the MLC is operating as it should.
- In M2config sending a Module ID test pattern results in an odd array of ID sequencing…mods at beginning of rows below the top row start with mod IDs from the end of display then start at the beginning of the sequencing.
- Changing the module size in M2config corrects module ID test pattern…but the change to the mod size is incorrect.

Cause
- Sign matrix is set incorrectly…controller width is set longer than sign actually is.
Resolution
- Correct the sign configuration:
- Verify correct sign matrix in customer information or by manufacturer's sticker on back of primary display cabinet.
- Connect with M2config.
- Set the sign matrix to correct size.
- Verify all other settings are correct.
- Click File > Set configuration.
