Resolution

Outdoor displays offer different dimming settings to match ambient and desired lighting conditions. In some applications, a light sensor is used to adjust to ambient lighting conditions. Stadium video displays typically rely on display operators to manually adjust dimming.

It is common for operators to prepare various settings, for example, one for full game time lighting and possibly one for all lights out (player introduction) type of lighting. In either situation, the operator ensures the dimming level is bright enough to comfortably be able to see the information on the display, but not so bright that colors of an image start to bleed into each other.

Follow the steps below to adjust dimming.

  1. In Venus 7000 shell click on Display button.
  2. In V7Dsply window click on Control>Dimming.
    • NOTE: Be sure to select a "Host" sign and not a window of a host.
  3. In Dimming window, adjust brightness as desired.
  4. Click apply and then OK.
