How do I load a Translation Table (TT) on a Galaxy or GalaxyPro display?

Resolution

  1. Open the web configuration page for the display controller, reference How do I use the Display Finder utility to detect a display?  if needed.
  2. Perform the following based on the version of the configuration interface in use on the display. 
    • Silverlight (legacy) web interface.
      1. Go to the Configuration tab and select Display from the tabs below.
      2. Upload the Translation Table by clicking the Upload... button under the Translation Table section as show in in screenshot below. 
      3. In the window that opens, browse for and select the Translation Table (it will be .hex file).
      4. Verify the translation table loaded matches the display type once the upload is finished.
    • HTML (new) web interface.
      1. Click the "Output" tile on the VIP dashboard screen.

      2. Click the Upload button underneath the "Translation Table" heading.

      3. In the window that opens, browse for and select the Translation Table (it will be .hex file).
      4. Verify the values in the "Display Information" section match the display type once the upload is finished.
