Schedule not running on sign at set time & date

Potential Symptoms

  • Sign won't play schedule.

Environment

  • Product Family: Transportation
  • Product:  VF, VM, VL, VX displays
  • Component: Software & Computer
  • Control System: Vanguard Professional Software

Cause

  • Time sync issue.

Resolution

  1. Sync time of display with time of computer.
  2. The following is done as additional troubleshooting steps.
  3. Open Professional Software.
  4. Select Tools tab.
  5. Select Content Studio.
  6. Select the message that is the same as what is in your schedule.
  7. Do not change anything in the message, unless you want to update something.
  8. Click on save. By doing this the message will now have a current date.
  9. Go to your schedule.
  10. Update the schedule with the desired message, and click save.
  11. Send the schedule to the sign.
