Getting error "Some of the messages selected were not sent because they were not found or do not exist in the database"; Empty playlist/s

Potential Symptoms

  • When playlist is published in Venus 1500 v4 receive an error message "Some of the messages selected were not sent because they were not found or do not exist in the database".

Cause

  • Messages were deleted from Content tab or moved from one folder to another folder, which removed the presentation from the playlist and caused the playlist to be empty.

Resolution

  1. Go to Schedule Tab.
  2. Click View -> Details View.
  3. Double click to launch each playlist.
  4. Once a playlist is open, verify there is at least one presentation in the Presentation List.
    1. If there are no presentations listed in this playlist, click Cancel.
    2. Select the playlist again by right clicking and select Remove (Or select the empty playlist so it is highlighted and then click the remove button at the top).
    3. If there are presentations within the playlist, ensure that they are still in the database.
      1. If they are not, follow Step 2
      2. If they are present in the database, click Cancel and continue to the next playlist.
  5. Repeat until all empty or erroneous playlists are removed.
