How long can the interconnect cable length be for Galaxy Primary-Mirror setup?

  • Can we extend the interconnect cable on a 2V display longer than 20'?

Resolution

  • Displays that utilize 20' ethernet interconnect cables W-1921 such as GS6/GT6 small matrix cannot be extended beyond 20'.
  • Displays that utilize fiber interconnect cables such as GS6/GT6 large matrix can be extended beyond 20', contact Daktronics for part numbers.

 

For Temporary Operation

  • To go a further length/distance greater than 20', A mirror to primary kit and switch kit will need to get installed.  This will change the primary/mirror setup to a primary/primary setup.
  • Please contact Daktronics for kit part numbers and support.
