V7000, Not able to save newly created messages, Getting a database error.

Potential Symptoms

  • Not able to save newly created messages in V7000.

Environment

  • Venus 7000
  • Secondary computer with only V7000 software loaded on it.  (3rd party computer networked to other equipment.)

Cause

  • Missing sign folder in network drive.

Resolution

  • Repair the network drive that is supposed to contain the messages.

Work Around

  • Create a sign folder in the C:\ drive and save messages there then use a jump drive to transfer files to the Primary computer under the C:\ drive and set the file path to C:\V7000 on that computer also.
