Closed Captioning Interface: text flashing randomly on primary controller

Potential Symptoms

DCS has break in the receive window of Closed Captioning system
DCS is configured and running on both the primary and backup DMP

Cause

The closed captioning is flashing on the board every time there is a break in the input on the DCS from the remote stenographer software. The DCS software is running on the backup computer and is interrupting the input on the primary machine

Resolution

Disable the DCS software on the backup computer
