Ethernet Communication; Unable to communicate with Galaxy Display

Potential Symptoms

  • Unable to connect to Galaxy display.
  • Unable to ping display.
  • Network adapter or LAC shows "Network Cable Unplugged".

Cause

  • Network cable unplugged.

Resolution

  1. Plug cable into network or reseat connection, verify activity lights flash.
  2. Verify the adapter still has correct IP settings and set them if not.
  3. Reseat Ethernet cable into the computer.
  4. Check connection in Venus to verify communication is restored.
