AF-3010 galaxy display is dim on one or both sides

Potential Symptoms

  • AF-3010 galaxy display is dim on one or both sides even when set to manual dimming at 100%.
  • Display has been running for over 10 years.
  • LEDs toward the ends of the displays are slightly brighter than the middle ones.
    • Content typically doesn't use the outside edges as frequently, so LEDs on the outside have not been utilized as much.

Cause

  • Dim level is being caused by normal LED wear as experienced over years of use.
    • 100,000 hours on LED's
