Venus 1500 V3, Message Studio, Display Manager, Schedule Studio, Administrator window appears on taskbar but does not open or show on the computer monitor

Potential Symptoms

  • Unable to open the Venus 1500 v3 Software applications such as Display Manager, Schedule, Message Studio, or Administrator.
  • Venus 1500 v3 applications appear on the Task Bar but does not open to the Desktop.

Environment

  • Venus 1500, Version: 3
    • Versions affected: 3.9

Cause

  • Window was moved off screen, then closed. The software remembers the last way it was opened/closed and will open that same way (off screen).

Resolution

  1.  Find Venus 1500 application on the Task Bar at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Right-click on the application., and click on either the Maximize or Restore option.
    • Sometimes Move is an option and you can choose Move, and use keyboard arrow keys to move the application back on screen.
  3. May need to close and re-open software several times and repeat the above steps to make Windows remember the desired way to open.
