Fouls are not increasing; All Sport is not configured correctly

Potential Symptoms

  • Fouls are not increasing using All Sport 3000.
  • Not able to add fouls to scoreboard.
  • Fouls not going past a specific number.
    • Note: If fouls is not turned on, the console will not prompt for the player number to be entered when the TEAM FOULS +1 button is pressed.

Environment

  • Product: Basketball Scoreboard
  • Component: Team Fouls
  • Control System: All Sport 3000

Cause

  • Fouls are misconfigured in the All Sport 3000 settings.

Resolution

  1. Turn All Sport on and enter in basketball code 001 or non-addressable code.
  2. Once in basketball mode hit the Alt/Clear button, which will prompt you to enter in your alt item.
  3. Enter in 1, Foul ON/OFF. If using overlay LL-2465 it does not have the Foul ON/OFF listed on there, but overlay LL-2539 does.
  4. To turn fouls on hit the enter button, and to turn fouls off hit Clear.
  5. Next screen will ask for how many fouls you want for 1 on 1 bonus, normally will be 7. Hit enter.
  6. Next screen will ask for 2 shot bonus, which will normally be 10. Hit enter.
  7. Fouls will be turned on with number of fouls set for each bonus, or will be turned off if clear is pressed in step 4 above.
