Time will not synchronize on Galaxy with Venus 1500 Version 3.11.

Potential Symptoms

  • Unable to update with Set Time/Date in Venus1500 Diagnostic Controls.

Environment

  • Product:
  • Components:
  • Control System: Venus 1500 v3.11

Cause

  • Auto-sync in the Venus 1500 V3 Settings is set to No. Typically this only effects v3.11, however it is recommended to verify software version, and proceed with update if SW is not at v3.12.

How to verify software version:

  1. From the Venus 1500 Shell, right-click Venus 1500 Logo and choose About Venus 1500.
    • DD1987066_1.png
  2. Click on the Versions tab and look at the Administrator.
    • If it shows v3.11 is it required to update to v3.12 to apply the fix permanently.
    • If it shows v3.10 or lower, it is highly recommended to update to v3.12.
