VP-4000 displays incorrect information

Potential Symptoms

Message displays on the controllers LCD interface screen correctly. The sign displays garbled dots and squiggly lines.

Environment

  • VP-4000 portable display

Cause

  • Controller configuration does not match physical LED layout on modules.
  • Incorrect configuration, controller was set to factory default.

Resolution

  1. Physically look at the front of the display. Verify LED Layout of modules.
  2. Reconfigure controller to match module layout.
