Question Marks Appear on the OmniSport® Track Button Interface

Potential Symptoms

  • Question marks (?) appear for lanes on the OmniSport® 2000 LCD screen when in track mode.
  • Unable to get push button plungers to register any times when running a racing.

Environment

  • OmniSport 2000
  • Push Button Interface
  • Track mode/program

Cause

  • An incorrect setting in the OmniSport 2000 for the Primary time causes the OmniSport 2000 to monitor the wrong input jack for button inputs.

Resolution

  1. On the OmniSport 2000, press [Menu].
  2. Press [4] Setup Menu.
  3. Press [1] Timer.
  4. Press [3] Primary Time.
  5. Scroll down and select the appropriate jack and the number buttons being used:
    1.  J7 1BTN.
    2. J10 1BTN, 2BTN, 3 BTN
  6. Press [Enter].
  7. Press [Menu] to exit the OmniSport 2000 menu.
  8. Verify that question marks are no longer present on the LCD screen
