LCD; LCD Display is not Outputting Audio; Incorrect Output Device Selected

Potential Symptoms

  • Recently replaced DMP not outputting audio
  • Volume Mixer lists DMP-8000 software in apps
  • DMP-8000 software is not muted in Volume Mixer
  • Volume slider shows Audio is being output
  • Output device is set to one of the LCD displays

Cause

Incorrect Output Device is selected in Volume Mixer

Resolution

  1. Right click the volume icon in the task tray on the lower-right of the Windows task bar.
  2. Select Open Volume Mixer.
  3. Select correct output device
    1. For Windows 10 images: Headphones
    2. For Windows 11 images: Speakers
  4. Verify audio now outputting properly
