FL-5000, Unable to Configure New Module Using Keyfob, Incorrect Module Part

Potential Symptoms

  • When replacing module, new module will not allow correct border size to be set.
  • When replacing module, new module will not allow any changes to frames or content type.
  • Factory reset does not resolve issue

Environment

Cause

  • Replacement module is wrong module type and part number for that fuel price sign.
    • Example, the module part is meant for a 2x2 price sign but installed in a 1x1 price sign, or vice versa.

Resolution

  • Order and install correct part.
