Venus Control Suite Web Editor: How to Apply Gradients?

This article explains how to apply gradient fills to backgrounds and elements in the Venus Control Suite (VCS) Web Editor. Gradients allow you to create color transitions using multiple colors and directional effects to enhance content appearance.

Steps

Gradient fills can be applied to the following Web Editor elements:

  • Backgrounds
  • Text elements
  • Image elements
  • Data elements

Gradients allow you to create transitions between two or more colors and can be customized using different gradient types, directions, and color combinations.

  • Multiple color stops can be used to create custom gradient effects.
  • The gradient preview updates as colors and settings are changed.

Apply a Gradient to a Background or Element

  1. Log in to Venus Control Suite
  2. Navigate to the Web Editor App

  1. Select or create a presentation you want to format.
  2. Select the background, text, image, or data element to modify.
  3. In the Content panel, select Gradient.

  1. Select the desired colors using the color stop selectors.
  2. From the Gradient Type drop-down menu, select one of the following: 
    • Linear 
    • Ellipse
  3. From the Gradient Direction drop-down menu, choose the desired direction or position.
    • Linear gradients support:
      • Top
      • Bottom
      • Left
      • Right
      • Top Left
      • Top Right
      • Bottom Left
      • Bottom Right
    • Ellipse gradients support:
      • Center
      • Top Left
      • Top Right
      • Bottom Left
      • Bottom Right
  4. Review the gradient preview.
  5. Save the content.
