Cause

Possible causes include:
    • No HDMI signal detected
    • Incorrect power-up sequence
    • Loose or incorrect cabling

Resolution

    1. Verify HDMI source is powered and active
    2. Confirm cable connections:
        ○ HDMI cable connected securely
        ○ SDI output connected to processor
    3. Perform power-cycle sequence:
        ○ Unplug BrightEye power
        ○ Connect HDMI source
        ○ Reconnect power
    4. Verify signal format:
        ○ Ensure source is outputting a supported resolution
    5. Check BrightEye indicators:
        ○ No Input = no signal detected
        ○ Invalid = signal present but unusable

  • Connect a known-good HDMI source
