Venus Control Suite: How do I access Device UX from the Displays App?

Device UX provides access to device configuration and diagnostic options for a device associated with a display in Venus Control Suite.

Access to Device UX is limited to admin users and is available across all subscription levels.

  • Control System: Venus Control Suite (VCS) – Cloud and Local Hosted

Steps

Access Device UX from Displays

  1. Log in to Venus Control Suite.
  2. From Launchpad, select Displays.

  

  1. Select the desired display from the list.

  1. Select Devices.
  2. Select the desired device from the list.

  1. In the right-hand slide-in panel, select Device UX.

  1. A new browser tab opens displaying the Device UX dashboard for the selected device.
    • The Device UX dashboard includes device information such as:
      • Identification details (device name and registration code)
      • Firmware and system information
      • Network configuration
      • Storage and drive health status
      • Display and output configuration

💡Note: The available information and options may vary based on the device and its connection state.

 

Additional Information

  • Device UX can also be accessed from the Monitoring App:
    • From a display tile menu (ellipsis)
    • From the display panel (right-hand panel after selecting a display)
  • Available information and options vary based on device type and connection state.

⚠️ Note: Device UX is not available if the device is not currently connected to Venus.
