Venus Control Suite Displays App: How do I configure Hibernate Mode?
Topic
Hibernate Mode allows you to control when your display powers on and off within the Displays App by turning Hibernate on or off, creating a schedule, or using manual override.
For supported displays* Hibernate Mode replaces Hours of Operation. Instead of defining when a display is active using Hours of Operation, Hibernate Mode provides more direct control by allowing users to schedule when a display enters or exits Hibernate Mode, as well as manually override that state at any time.
Before You Begin
- Hibernate Mode is available based on display configuration.
- Hibernate Mode is an add-on feature and is not supported by display product family alone.
-
*Supported display models currently include:
- DVX-322X
- DBX 1212 (EcoSmart)
- NPN 66XX
- RTX 2310 (coming soon)
- A supported display model does not guarantee Hibernate Mode is available.
- Hibernate Mode requires the necessary hardware and software configuration to function.
-
Existing displays may require upgrades or change orders to support Hibernate Mode.
- If a display does not support Hibernate Mode, the option may not appear or may be visible but unavailable, depending on configuration.
- The Hibernate quick access option is intended for on-demand control of the current Hibernate state.
- In the display configuration page, Hibernate Mode is only visible if a power manager is available.
- If a power manager is not available, Hours of Operation will remain available instead.
