Unable to Connect to Scoreboard After Updating to The All Sport Lite App

Potential Symptoms

  • Scoreboard won't turn on after updating app
  • Scoreboard won't update after updating app
  • Scoreboard does not blank after disconnecting from the app
  • Each time the app is opened it defaults to "Practice Timer"
  • Not able to switch modes
  • Time is not showing correctly or is not synced

Environment

Product: Scoreboard
Component:  MX-1 Controller v3.6, Bluetooth v1.3
Control System: All Sport Lite App v25.11.10
 

Cause

  • MX-1 needs to re-establish a connection to the scoreboard and Bluetooth device after updating the Dak Score App to the All Sport Lite App

Resolution

  1. If able to connect to the MX-1 using the All Sport Lite app, update MX-1 firmware using the All Sport Lite app (future release).

For Temporary Operation

  1. Close All Sport Lite App.
  2. Verify phone has all updates installed and restart phone/tablet.
  3. Power MX-1 Off. Wait 30 Seconds
  4. Power MX-1 On.
  5. Open All Sport Lite App.
  6. Follow onscreen prompts and re-enter desired broadcast and channel settings.
