Live Switch- System Configuration

Environment

•    Live Switch software (QuickGuide DD4646673)
•    Access to the control computer with administrative privileges

Steps

Open System Configuration
1.    Launch Live Switch.
2.    Go to the top menu and select Edit > Configuration.
3.    Click the System tab.

Adjust System Settings

Within the System tab, you can configure:
•    GIP/Tally ERTD Port: Edit this if directed by Daktronics Support.
•    RossTalk Input Port: Modify only as required for device control.
•    Max MEs: Set to 2 MEs (default); additional MEs may be supported in future updates.
•    Show/Hide Elements: Toggle visibility for DDRs, monitors, and MEs in the interface.
•    Top Most Window: Enable to keep Live Switch above all other applications.

Apply and Save Changes

•    Click OK to save and apply changes.
•    Click Cancel to discard changes.

 

Additional Information:

•    Using Top Most Window will keep Live Switch in the foreground; disable it if you need to access File Explorer or web browsers during operation.
•    Always export your configuration file (Edit > Export) before making significant changes to preserve a backup.
