Live Switch- Replay Recording and Playback

  • How do I record and save replays in Live Switch?
  • How can I play back or trim replay clips during a live event?

Environment

  • Live Switch software (DD4646673)
  • DDR1 assigned for replay clips (default)
  • Replay Controller (optional)

Steps

Configure Replay Settings:

  1. Go to Edit > Configuration > Record Tab.
  2. Confirm or adjust:
    • Recording Sign: Replay (default).
    • Replay DDR: DDR1 (default).
    • Default Replay Length: Time saved for quick replays (default: 7 seconds).

Start Recording:

  1. Click Record (button turns red).
  2. To stop, click Record again after the event or segment completes.

 

 

Save Replay Clips:

  • Option 1 – Mark Out (Quick):
    • Click Mark Out to save the previous segment (default length).
  • Option 2 – Mark In + Mark Out (Manual):
    1. Click Mark In at the start of the play.
    2. Click Mark Out to save the desired clip.

Playback Replays:

  • Access clips in DDR1.
  • Use playback controls: Play/Pause, Next/Previous, Trim (Mark In/Out), Auto Advance, and speed control (10–100%).
