Vanguard Professional Client User is Unable to Operate Travel Time Properly.

Potential Symptoms

  • Unable to operate Client Travel Time as intended.
  • Unable to create new plans from Vanguard Client computer. (even with administrative access)
  • Travel Time assigned template does not populate time. (###-###)

Environment

  • Product Family: Vanguard V4 Professional Software (V4 PRO)
  • Product: Travel Time
  • Control System: Vanguard

Cause

  • Travel Time firmware version on Vanguard Client computer is not compatible with Travel Time version on Server computer.

Resolution

  1. Confirm current Travel Time fimrware version on Vanguard Server.
  2. Update Vanguard Client Travel Time to match the same version found on Vanguard Server
  3. To get the latest Travel Time firmware version contact Daktronics or email Support@Daktronics.com

For Temporary Operation

  • If you can't update the Travel Time firmware right now, any changes to Plans on Travel Time need to be done using the Vanguard Server computer.

  • If the Vanguard Client computer has incompatible Travel Time firmware, only the Vanguard Server computer can correctly run Travel Time.
