How to create a custom message using Vanguard Content Studio

Steps

  1. Create a new message
    1. Login to the Vanguard Professional software
    2. Select the blue V icon in the top-left of the window
    3. Hover over New, then select Message
    4. Follow the New Presentation Wizard to select a particular display or a sign type to use as the template for creating the message
    5. Once message as been created, save the presentation, either by selecting the Floppy Disk icon in the top-left, or by selecting the blue V icon and selecting either Save or Save As
  2. Edit an existing message
    1. Login to the Vanguard Professional software
    2. Select the blue V icon in the top-left of the window
    3. Hover over Open, then select Existing Message
    4. In the Content Studio file explorer window that opens, navigate to the presentation you wish to edit, then select Open
    5. Once changes have been made, save the presentation, either by selecting the Floppy Disk icon in the top-left, or by selecting the blue V icon and selecting either Save or Save As
  3. After messages have been created or edited, they can be added to a display's Message Library by following How do I add a message to the display message library in Vanguard Professional?
