Field Service Mobile App: How to Log Notes

This process is completed by Field Engineers using the Field Service Mobile App (FSMA).
This article reviews the steps to enter a note.
Environment
- Field Service Mobile App installed on Android or iOS compatible device
- Login credentials for Salesforce Field Service Mobile App
Steps
Access and Enter Notes
1. Access the Notes within the Overview of the Service Appointment.
2. Scroll down to the bottom to find the Service Report section.
3. Tap on the pencil icon to open a Service Note.
4. Type your notes using the keyboard or tap the microphone icon at the bottom of the screen to initiate the speak-to-text feature.
5. Click the Save button.
6. These Service Notes will be migrated into the External Notes text field of the Service Appointment Closeout.
