Content Studio Workspace Size Incorrect In Venus 1500 on Windows 11, Unsupported Operating System

Potential Symptoms

  • Workspace opens to incorrect dimensions, too wide or too tall
  • Content published to the sign is too large or too small, or does not fit properly.
  • Content does not display on sign.

Control System: Venus 1500 V4 

Cause

  • Venus 1500 V4 is not supported on Windows 11. Content created on a Windows 11 PC, or edited on a Windows 11 PC, does not reliably work.

Resolution

  • Install Venus 1500 V4 on a supported operating system
    • Do not try to install the VCS version of Content Studio, it is not compatible with V4

For Temporary Operation

  • If a correct sized older content is available, open it, edit it to make the new content and save as a new file with a new filename as a workaround.
