Vanguard; Power Supply Isolation Board(s) 7-segment Display Flashing 1; Incorrect Peripheral Configuration

Potential Symptoms

  • Last Isolation Board(s) 7-segment display is flashing error code 1
  • Isolation Board showing error is both receiving and outputting proper power
  • CAN connection between Isolation Boards are seated correctly and showing no signs of damage
  • No power errors are present in System Health
  • In View Peripherals, there are fewer Isolation Boards reporting than are actually in the display

Cause

The incorrect number of Isolation Boards are configured in the display controller.

Resolution

NOTE: It is good practice to create a System Backup before making any changes to the Peripherals.

  1. Log into Sign X (where X is the number of the display with the erroring Isolation Board).
  2. Select Configuration.
  3. Select Peripheral.
  4. Select Delete All, then Confirm.
  5. Select Add.
    1. Use Guided Setup and Advanced Setup to configure the peripherals per the Site Config sheet.
  6. Once peripherals have been added, select View and verify all peripherals are reporting properly, including the correct number of Isolation Boards.
  7. Verify Isolation Board(s) is/are no longer showing flashing 1.
