All Sport Pro: How do I enable tenths of second for basketball shot clock.

The All Sport Pro shot clock allows you to enable the 1/10th second display.

 

Environment

  • Product: 
  • Components: Rules Profiles for Basketball, version 1.12.13.0 or later 
  • Control System: All Sport Pro Suite 

Show Clock outputs tenths after threshold (RTD, MDP, JSON, and TV Feed)

Steps

NOTE: The rules for FIBA and NBA have shot clock tenths threshold set to 5 seconds, however High School and NCAA rules default to disabled.

🔽Use the arrows to expand and collapse the following sections. 

Enable tenths of second for basketball shot clock via creating custom rules
  1. Go to the Rules page.
  2. Set the checkbox for the rules that match your league.
  3. Click the Copy button.
  4. Provide a unique name for the rules.
  5. Expand the section for Periods, Clocks and Bonus.
  6. Select the desired value for Shot Clock Tenths Threshold (seconds).
  7. Click the Save button.

    Game operation

    Games created with these custom rules will now display tenths of a second for the shot clock on the web page.

    Note: When configured, the web page will always display tenths for both the game clock and shot clock, regardless of whether they have reached the threshold. 

    Once the shot clock is less than the configured threshold, the scoreboard data will transition to tenths of a second.

    A transparent three-digit shot clock will move the ones digit to the left and display the tenths digit in a smaller size.

    A standard two-digit shot clock will shift the ones digit to the left and display the tenths digit in the ones place. If the threshold is set to 5 seconds, the shot clock will display as “7”, “6”, “5”, “49”, “48”, “47”, etc.
