All Sport Pro: How to Change the Hostname of Interface Box

  • In a scenario where two interface boxes are required to operate separate All Sport Pro games, such as in a split-court basketball setup, both boxes would initially have the same default hostname of "allsport". To avoid confusion, the hostname of at least one interface box must be altered so that the client device does not attempt to connect to two devices with the identical name.

Steps

  1. Log into the interface box that will be changed. It is recommended to turn off the other interface box.
  2. Click the menu icon in the upper-left corner of All Sport Pro. 
  3. Go to Settings > Device Configuration. 
     
     
  4. Under Networking, type in a new hostname (example: “allsport2”), and then click Save.
     
    Note: The device will reboot after saving, and the connection will be momentarily lost during the reboot.
     
  5. Be sure to update the bookmark on the client device to the URL of the new hostname (example: “allsport2.local:5000”).
